CHAI SOCIETY DONORS
AT CHABAD OF PINELLAS COUNTY
The Chai Society is a special group of donors supporting the meaningful work of Chabad of Pinellas County.
How Is Chabad Supported?

At Chabad, no membership is required to participate, nor are we funded by headquarters. So how is everything funded?

Chabad of Pinellas County is funded 100% by families and generous supporters like you.

It's thanks to your support that we're able to offer incredible programming and welcome every local Jewish family through our doors.

I sincerely hope you'll join the Chai Society donors to become a partner in bringing Judaism to Pinellas County.

How Much Should I Give?

A little more than you were thinking. The Rebbe taught us to always push ourselves, a little bit at a time. At the same time, try to pick an amount you'll be comfortable keeping.

The Chai Society starts at $72 a month, or $864 a year. We have multiple tiers and ways to get involved.

In our effort to be inclusive for families of all income levels, the Chai Society tiers are designed within a wide range. If you're able, please consider participating at a higher level — this allows us to cover our expenses and continue to expand our programs, services and long-term goals.

If this is beyond your means, all donations are welcome at yichabad.com/donate.

New to Giving? The Mitzvah of Tzedakah

Not everyone grew up learning the mitzvah of tzedakah — the Jewish practice of giving. In Jewish tradition, tzedakah isn't just charity; the word comes from the Hebrew for justice, which is part of why it's held as such a core Jewish value.

Maimonides taught that giving gladly and consistently matters more than the size of any single gift — a habit of smaller, regular giving builds character in a way one large check never could. However you're able to give, it counts, and it's meaningful.

What Methods of Payment Are Accepted?

After you have selected your monthly or annual amount, you can pay us by credit card, check, donor advised fund, PayPal, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo or Crypto.
